| Dear BL Sellers,
in the meantime I write this thread BL team works for fix the latest bug ( as
many post in the forum ).
I would thanks them for their commitment!
Is the first time that BL has an important tool broken for one day.
I don't know anything about software & hardware, I'm secure that manteniance
on this site is an hard job, but lately there are many problems here.
There are many seller here as hobbysts, but many others are Professional Seller,
much of those have employees, and move much money as profict & taxes. They pay
BL fees, so BL ''must'' respect them!
Today happen a big problem, and for umpteenth time nobody ( by BL ) put his face
here, and ask for excuse. This is frustrant.
So I close my shop next Monday, as a protest.
And I invite all sellers to do the same thing.
Please note: I accept TOS, but averything have a limit!

They should have definitely updated users in the forum or on the front page
- just like they posted the announcement about their new feature that seems to
be the reason behind the break.
But what good will closing your store for the day do? You lose a day of listing
new stock due to their mistake and protest by losing another day of sales. That
hurts only you, not bricklink.

Bricklink will not make fees on those lost sales. You can still list new stock
while your store is closed.

Do you really think that stores lose money if their store will close for one
day?

In the run up to Christmas, yes. If your store is closed a buyer will buy the
same item(s) from another seller. The end result is BL still gets the fees and
a different store gets the sale.
But if you think they even notice that your store got closed for a day, go for
it.

| yup, all sellers need bricklink (that sell on bricklink) but bricklink does not
need all sellers

| Um, do you think bricklink will lose money?? A couple stores protesting for ONE
day will not cause a difference. All it does is push away business from yourself.

+1, it is the one of the few ways to show how pissed we are being treated like
this!
