Hi all,
first time posting as getting to grips with our shop.
I've noticed a few times now that when people order a part sometimes it will
have 2 lines on my pick sheet.
i thought this might have been a helpfull feature to me as i then know the parts
are from 2 different sets.
howvever i've had it pointed out to me today that it displays this way for
people browsing the shop.
for example someone is looking for a 1x1 yellow brick and my shop displays this
as 3 different parts even though they are the same.

is there a way to combine all these so it's only seen as one listing by my
shoppers? i've even noticed some have different prices as i've been digging.
i've attached a screenshot thats actually taken from the front page of my
store

Thanks in advance for any help as it would be greatly appreciated
Chris

On your my inventory page, there should be an option to find non-unique inventory
(tick the non-unique check box and then the go button), you will have to combine
the manually or use 3rd party software (BrickStore in my case) to combine them.

Ah thats interesting thankyou, i've realised i had the consolidate option
unchecked as default in part-out so this will with future sets.
I will have a look at brickstore to see if i can bring my inventory back in check
and a more orderlystate.
thank you for the advice.

There are sellers who have been here for years and moved hundreds of orders who
don't realize this or don't care. When browsing a store, it's extremely
annoying to find multiple listings for the exact same part. The fact that you
have acknowledged this and want to fix it as soon as you found out tells me that
you're on the right path as a seller. I wish you luck in your selling endeavors
here!

Those same sellers may be missing out on potential orders from people shopping
from Wanted Lists -- if those wanted lists are for bigger quantities. Having
3 shop listings for a total quantity of 50 is fine, but they will miss out on
wanted list buyers looking to buy 50 pieces, for example.

For sellers that rely on the REMARKS field to show storage locations, it IS possible
for BL to automatically COMBINE those remarks (it is the Concatenate option)
rather than overwrite existing Remarks entries when doing inventory uploads.

Not just via wanted list, but I often sort by highest qty and by not combining
lots the seller misses showing up high on the list.
