| Hi. I recently bought a 5 pound lot consisting of vintage space parts and underwater
sets. In it I found a 1x1 round brick color which is a merge between trans-bright
green/trans-green/bright green. More of a milky green. Picture shows it with
the other normal Lego colors separate from the trans-round bricks on far left.
Is this a factory error? It has the plastic mold break-off on the side. Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Does it have the Lego logo on top? Or is it hollow?

Is the inside rim of the open stud completely round or slightly hexagonal? All
genuine Lego 3062b have a hexagonal opening, probably for friction, but knockoff
parts I've found have always had a completely round opening. I can't
tell from the potato picture, but you can compare it to other 3062b parts you
have.

Inside is completely round. I never heard of the slightly hexagonal before on
those parts. Not sure if it is a knockoff or not.

It’s not genuine if it’s totally round.
Just take one you know is genuine and look carefully: the hole is not perfectly
round, it has 8 sides (octagonal).
Same for and a few other parts.
It’s even reflected in LEGO’s renders for the parts:
[p=3062b]

If it does turn out to be an official Lego piece, then it was because the piece
didn’t get enough ink (or whatever it’s called in TLG factory lol) https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1374875
