Hi there

How do you make orders over a specific amount automatically go to a higher pricing
level?

For example, I want buyers who spend over £50 to be directed to the Signed For/Tracked
postage. However, at the moment this isn't happening. What do I need to adjust
or go to to make this happen?

Thanks in advance

I'm no expert, but perhaps add a Price Band? It's in the Destination
and Base Rate section of your shipping settings.

Good luck,
Jen

Hi, thanks for the suggestion but that isn't the solution sadly.

You limit the first shipping method to 49.99 (there's a max value field at
the bottom), then you create another shipping method with a minimum of 50.00,
etc.

The best way to approach this is to shy away from thinking automatically, and
instead think of restricting the shipping methods that you do not wish to present
when the amount goes over a threshold. Remember, you are presenting options to
the customer. Take away the options that you would prefer not to present. Look
at ‘Restrictions’ on your various shipping methods.
