| Since Paypal has moved to using ShipStation for the shipping labels I have had
so many problems.
The most recent is that ShipStation has nowhere on international shipments to
enter the IOSS number so the recipient will not be charged VAT twice. I chatted
with customer support and they said this feature is not available on their platform.
I like that the orders are automatically imported and the tracking numbers are
automatically exported to Paypal, but ShipSatation's service itself is clumsy,
slow, and insufficient.
I know BL has no control over Paypal's features, but for other users, FYI,
Pirate Ship does have the option to add an IOSS No. on international packages
and the price is the same (for USPS first class and FC international at least.)
Don't risk using Paypal labels now that this feature is gone, or you might
have unhappy customers getting double VATted.

Yes, this has been brought up in the Forum a few times. Pirate Ship allows you
to add the IOSS number and is free to use. As someone who is used to using the
Shipstation interface on Paypal, I can attest that printing a label from Pirate
Ship is easy and straightforward.
Now that Shipstation is burying the USPS First Class prices behind yet another
extra click, I may well switch over completely.

I wrote to Pirate Ship some time ago and asked if they could add BrickLink to
their integrations to cut down on copying and pasting. They said they were looking
into it but perhaps if more BrickLink sellers wrote to them requesting it?

An easier solution would be for BL to add a little button, that copies the address
to the clipboard. Has anyone suggested this yet ?

Is it not wiser/smarter to copy and paste the buyer address from PAYPAL ??
I almost never look closely at the BL address; it's the Paypal address that
matters. Fortunately here on BL, 99 percent of the time they are the same, but
still....
The way I do my order flow, I look at every Paypal payment when manually recording
the payment details, so I copy and paste the buyer address at that time and then
input it to PirateShip in my very next step.

| generally it's not a problem. after shipping over 3500 orders out to only
the bricklink address (still double check on high $ orders) I haven't had
a single problem related to Paypal vs bricklink address issues

I don't have nearly as many orders but I have never once looked at a PayPal
address
