| The change log for Studio version 2.2.4_1 lists "Added Mac M1 support" as an
improvement. I interpreted that to mean that Studio natively supports Apple Silicon
on a Mac. However, the installation of version 2.22.9_3 asked to install Rosetta
(which is fine). However, I would like to clarify what "Added Mac M1 support"
means -- does it mean that Studio can run without Rosetta on an M1/M2 Mac
and downloaded the wrong installer, or does it mean something else?
Many thanks!

Hi,
Studio is native for M1, but companion applications (renderers EyeSight & POV-Ray)
are not.
And the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

Thanks for your reply!
That's good to know about the companion applications and the dedicated forum.

If they did make a DMG installer for M1, it would/should be designated as macOS/AArch64
(or something similar). That is how most developers are dealing with it.
