I don’t think so. Nothing changes¹ = no need to change the copyright year.

Note that there’s no registration needed for a copyright (Berne convention, which
the USA joined very late, in the 1980s IIRC, so older ways are still ingrained
there).
The copyright symbol © (and year) is not necessary either (but, IIUC, if you
don’t put one, claims are harder / yield less in damages).

So the design of the invoice or the website, are ©.
© falls after (between 50 and 99) years (depending on the country), so a date

If you use it long enough, widely enough, others can’t use it.
A date wouldn’t mean anything.
