| So I installed stud.io about, a month ago...
I was trying to delete a custom palette I accidentally delete "ADP Pallette -Archived"
I tried reinstalling it but didn't get it back
where/ how can I obtain "ADP Pallette -Archived"?

Hi,
(blah first, answer below)
The dedicated forum for Studio (no dot) and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).
Please search the forum for your question before posting a new one (the search
box is in the very dark grey banner).
There’s indexes of known bugs and suggestions that you can browse first:
Studio: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5579
PartDesigner: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5589
— Why the palette isn’t reinstalled?
The palette is installed in the user’s folder (%appdata%\… on Windows, .local/…
on Mac). When installing, Studio checks if the folder exists and doesn’t touch
it if it does.
— Where to find the palette?
A copy named ‘ADP Palette’ (no ‘- archived’) is in the folder Studio 2.0/data/Contest/
(Studio 2.0 is in C:\Program Files on Windows and, AFAIK, /Applications on Mac).
To restaure it:
1. Copy the file in your user folder.
This is Users/YOUR_USERNAME/.local/share/Stud.io/Buckets/Folders/ on Mac
and C:\users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stud.io\Buckets\Folders\ on Windows
(AppData and .local are hidden!)
2. Edit the file with a text editor (Notepad or similar, not something ‘too
smart’ like Word) and remove the starting # (and only that!).
3. Restart Studio.
– If you are interested in a more recent, similar (‘drawer’) palette, see this
post: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7290
(I haven’t updated it in a few months… but that’s still better than 4 years ago
)
