Like the title says, what does (x2) mean next to an item in a shopping cart?
Does this mean the seller ships out 2 of every item chosen? For example, if
I wanted to purchase a quantity of 10 of a particular lego brick, would the seller
then ship 20 of that brick? (Please refer picture). Thanks in advance!

No it means you have to buy in multiples of 2 for that item. some stores do that
for some items. sometimes it's in qty of 2 and sometimes its in qty of hundreds
or thousands

And the name is ‘bulk lots’.

It sometimes happens that Auto-select / EasyBuy choose those lots… so you get
a completion percentage for your Wanted List higher than 100%!

Bulk Purchase: Example Quantity: 10 (x2)
A limited number of parts require that they be purchased in bulk.
For example, a listings that has "Quantity: 10 (x2)" means there are 10 in stock,
and that the part must be purchased 2 at a time.
So that means...
2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 of the part can be purchased.
1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 of the part cannot be purchased

‘1’ is possible if it’s the last one remaining

Agreed, but the example had 10 in quantity.

Agreed, but the example had 10 in quantity.

Well, at the time I wrote my message, the seller had already sold a few and realized
they miscounted by one so the total was odd.

Also, I need to see an optometrist…

11 would be disallowed in this example as there are only 10 parts available.

And 6.5 ?

Now did the Lord say, “First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count
to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting
shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting
that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out."

Just a reminder:

Insults are still not welcome here!
Even flowery ones.
Even if in French.
Even if said by haughty French from a castle wall.
