From a once high-volume store with large storage and work areas, this is our
entire Lego work space of today, and I like it! Though we still have a few thousand
new minifigures, I remind myself, that number was once higher by a factor of
many, plus the parts and sets.

I've come to appreciate and really enjoy the current smaller, well-organized
Lego space within our home. That which only our selloff over the last few years
has afforded us. Another reason to be thankful for taking that decision.

What’s the saying “Size doesn’t matter?” Not trying to burst any bubbles, but
it actually does though not nearly as much as how it’s used, matters. Our current
Lego work-space size, is “used” well and today that matters most to me

If you’ve a mind to, please share pics of your Lego play and/or work spaces

Nice! Very organized. This is what my LEGO workspace looks like:

Part of my work area and shelves. Can't show it all since it looks like a
bomb went off. Generally organized, but not as well as I would like.

It's on there... just lined up perfectly with the camera so you can't
see it.

Very Nice, small compact and easy to clean I like it...

Here is my setup as it stands today. First picture is my Craftsman Bin wall,
Second is bookcases holding Ziplock plastic storage containers, Thrid is the
center island I build with bookcases with a top on them to stack Akro-Mills bins
on.

Nice! Seems very organized. The use of space or the all-important layout, looks
well thought-out too.

Thanks for sharing, Jennifer But now I'm curious, what's the plan after
the years up?

-Cory

A smaller space hopefully. As much as I would love to stay here, it's 450
sq ft and that's too expensive here in the city. Unless someone will share
with me where the magic 'Increase Income' button is so I can keep this
place!

Love the board games! We haven't played Dominion in quite a while. We regularly
play Carcassonne (the "regular" version) with friends. In winter time, we play
the online version I programmed (fully functional, with all rules, with the river
and the first 5 expansions).

Oh wow! That is awesome. I love Carcassone but no one in my family will humor
me and play anymore. I have an old app for it on iPad too but yours looks fantastic.
What a project that must have been to build.

I consolidated all my Dominion and Carcassone expansions to one big box and use
all the extra boxes to hold instructions in my shop. We have moved on now
to Scythe and Caverna.

Thanks for sharing,
Jen

Great to see another Carcassonne fan!

That is the go-to game for my whole family to have a great time. Other family
favorites are Ascension, Splendor, and Cataan.

Cheers,
Randy

We've never tried Ascension. Will look into it! I have to recommend you try
Fantasy Realms for a family game if you haven't tried it.

Also: Crew, if you are a card-playing family.

Thanks!

Where do you use the cutter for? I hope it's not there to create baseplates
from a 32x32 when you're short of 16x32's. LOL

Nice!

Thanks for sharing, Warren. Any way of getting more individual, perhaps bigger
pics files? I'd really enjoy getting a better look.

I tried to upload a video of that room but it wouldn't let me, teach me how
to upload more and I will.

That is very cool! I really wish Lego would offer "official" lighting kits.

Thanks for sharing @Dolfan413

You're welcome, and I love the way the light kits look, but I don't have
the patience to install them

I wish I had a space I could just start over and design from the ground up.
My store has little by little taken over area in my "office" bedroom and it is
tight. I make makeshift solutions to problems as they arise.

Nice clean workplace. Are you looking for the missing drink? It's in the
closet

Good eye, Andy

You got me, that is where I keep my libation while working. When doing inventory
work, I enjoy both frosty brew this time of year with my eagerly awaited seasonal
fresh hop varieties currently available, and something you can't see, Jazz.

Life can be very sweet, moments anyway

Nice simple solution. Thanks!

What's the story behind your name change, Andy?

Somebody complained our shipping is too high from AZ
