| Hi all,
I have a buyer who placed and order and paid, back on the 20th of August. But
their items require a higher shipping cost. The item has this note displayed,
so the they would have see this shipping cost before ordering.
I have been contacting they buyer once a week, asking what they would like to
do, but there has been no contact.
Do I cancel the order? wait longer?
Cheers

Then it's your fault.
You can't ship it even losing a bit?
Otherwise if you refund/cancel unilateraly buyer may be genuinely upset, and
you may also get a nice Red feedback
Try both direct e-mail AND BL messages...

It's not the seller's fault, they stated that there was a note in the
item's description saying shipping would cost more for said item, which usually
is the case & gets noted if stuff is too big for lettermail, for example
|
They shouldn't have used instant checkout then. They should have marked the
set/part as manual invoicing.
The seller should apologise for the delay and send it, or cancel the order and
refund the full costs paid by the buyer. And learn from it.

It is, the buyer paid an order with wrong shipping fees proposed.

| if the buyer paid the shipping cost that they were invoiced (including instant
checkout) for then you ship it out even if you lose money. you figure out what
went wrong and fix it so It dosnt happen again.

| As others said, ship the order and fix your store shipping/checkout problems.
As a side note, maybe consider changing your descriptions of parts/figs. I happened
to check out the store and saw several "like new" and "great condition" figs
that went on to describe damage. This will turn buyers away. Just be honest
with the condition.

| Please do not use phrases such as "Like New" or "As New" in the description of any item, regardless of whether it is being listed as NEW or USED.

| Ship the order and change the item in question to "manual" which eliminates instant
checkout for it.

| If I was the buyer and already paid for the order I would be very upset and would
probably consider leaving negative feedback. As a seller I routinely pick up
shipping differences created by a larger than expected packaging, or sometimes
I will go with Priority mail (US) because it has insurance.
If you want to ensure the buyer pays the correct shipping then do not use instant
checkout.
