| Hello
I recently bought instructions and a parts list off Ebay however when I try to
upload the file into my wanted list it says the file was accepted but is comes
up with a message saying
The following errors were found in the file:
Part not found in catalog. item No:x8
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this issue?

x8 is the alternate number for
Can you edit the file before you upload it?

x8 is the alternate number for
Can you edit the file before you upload it?

If you do a search for x8, you will find your part as our search will return
results for alternates. However, those numbers are not recognized in the upload
process.
This part number was changed quite recently, so you might want to let your ebay
seller know about it too!

This part had its ID changed a couple of months ago (as have quite a lot of the
"x..." parts recently).
You can still search for "x8" and then check the change log to be sure ("Chg
Log" in the bottom-right of the catalog page): https://www.bricklink.com/catalogReqList.asp?nID=&viewDate=Y&viewType=E&viewStatus=A&itemID=2647
