| Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could give me a walkthrough of shipping internationally.
I plan on Shipping from U.S to Serbia to a reputable buyer. I was just wondering
if there is any additional work I need to do, or do I just simply use ship
station directly from Paypal's website like I normally do for Domestic shipping.
Also any tips and tricks would be helpful.
Thanks, Noah

Gee -
I learnt this in 2006 from Timothy Smith.
Just don't fear.
Ship everywhere, learn, adjust, but don't restrict to any place, any amount,
anyone.

| Hi Noah,
you can use ship station like for domestic shipping
if you want to. You'll only need to fill the custom form.
You'll see a large button "Add declaration" this is it.
You'll also see that in the declaration you need to
list all items with their weight. I just wrote down
"set of manuals" or "set of building bricks" and total weight.
I never had problem with doing it that way.
Sometimes I had problem with special symbols in the address.
I just worked it out.
You can do it. It's easy

| I thought I remembered reading that there is an issue with putting in the IOSS
number using ShipStation from PayPal. I know Serbia isn't formally in the
EU - I don't know whether BL collects VAT for Serbia.

First of all thanks for all the advice, I am very appreciative. So all I will
need to do that’s s different is fill out the “add deceleration” on shipstation?
If so this is much easier than expected, and I am very surprised.
Thanks, Noah

Yes that's all. When you'll choose different country than USA
you'll see the button "add declaration" Good luck!

I put "plastic toy parts lot" on my customs forms. I'm afraid "lego" will
attract thieves.
Its really not much different, just takes longer

I works, I tried until the very last check out step.
But you misled a bit with your "Intenrtional Shipping (Quote)", as it's not
a quote, the buyer places an actual order
BTW: typo in "Intenrtional", or was it intenational?

If Serbia requires a digital IOSS form, then you can't use the default Paypal/Shipstation.
Most people here seem to recommend Pirateship instead.
Does anyone have a reference for which countries require the IOSS?

Serbia is not part of the EU yet (‘candidate’ only at this date).

The EU countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_state_of_the_European_Union
Note that for UK, which has a similar scheme, it seems there’s no obligation
to pass the VAT number electronically… but you need to use their modified CN-22
which has a field for the VAT number of the collector (CN-22A?).
(Norway has a similar scheme too but BL doesn’t collect from Novergian buyers,
yet.
And I don’t yet know how it’ll work for Canada that should be implemented soon.)
