| Someone seems to be trying to poach sellers from Bricklink. Just got an internal
message asking if I would be interested in selling to USA and Canada on their
Everythingeshop site.
I am categorically not interested in this kind of internal message and wonder
if the Admins are aware this is going on. Came from nofunpress(0) who I think
ought to be banned.

I received the same message and echo your concerns. It's SPAM as far as I'm
concerned and needs to be dealt with as such.

I received the same message and echo your concerns. It's SPAM as far as I'm
concerned and needs to be dealt with as such.

Thanks for the heads up Captain.M
I have given the admins the info and let them know the message reference number.
I expect they can read it with that info and I certainly would like them to
be able to. Nothing on this site should be 100% free from their scrutiny. However
would the site run successfully if this sort of thing is allowed to continue.

| I received an identical message today as well - although from a different account.
I've just reported it and included the ref in the details.
Hopefully the Admins will be able to block them.

I've have just reported a different account than previously mentioned but

Thank you. The IP addresses for all of them are from India and we have banned
over 1000 accounts so far. Each account sends between 4 and 6 messages.

1000 accounts! Blimey very persistent aren't they. I'm guessing there
is a limit on how many messages a new account holder can send for them to feel
the need to setup that many accounts?

| How a VPN works:

what you have to figure out is How did this person get the email addresses of
the members who got the email, not the direct messages here on Brinklink..
somehow they acquired those email addresses... that's the key

Not in this case. They are forming hundreds of accounts and contacting our sellers
via the BrickLink messaging system. They don't need the sellers' emails
to do that, just a BrickLink account.

oh i thought this all started with an email, since i recieved it in my junk email,
i never recieved any direct messages here on brinklink..
the IP investigating sounds pointless honestly
