| Hello! I just wanted to ask for an inspection of my store!
I would like a few experienced sellers to go through and tell me what I’m doing

3rd.. the more time you spend in the forum, the less time you are focusing on

It’s off of the forums and it’s in a private store  I don’t think he’s gunna

Yah long terms are a problem I have also but I’m to lazy to change it so I just
wrote see my splash page for a more simplified explanation and details with a

there is a higher percentage of non-believers in the LEGO world and I know of
a few BL stores with religious leaning owners that have proselytized to buyers
and have received negative feedback solely based upon the push. It actually came
up at a LUG meeting once where members were openly discussing black-listing stores
because religious literature was sent with their orders.
Some folks just want LEGO with their LEGO and your store name and logo may cause
some users you just not even look, even if you have what they want.
Advice, ask and ye shall receive.

I don't know one way or the other if true but the buyers felt as though they
had covered the shipping costs for the literature and as consumers, they felt
ripped off. It didn't have much to do with their religious affiliation, it
was that they now felt they paid too much for shipping because it was
included even though they may not have felt that way when paying.

Not really. Shipping to the rest of the world is prohibitively expensive. Shipping
to anywhere in Europe starts at $15. Australia starts at $18. I don't think
60% of buyers are willing to overcome that high a postage charge. I have a medium-sized
store and get an order from overseas maybe once a month.
But I do like that you thought the US is less than 1% of the LEGO buying market.

It is a nice store with a good variety. I have a small store too, you will find
getting up to about 5,000 parts will get you regular orders. I am a bit behind
due to some family illnesses but will hopefully get it back up.
I would suggest not listing "NISB! Will remove from set upon order!" This tells
a buyer that you are not ready to package their order. I would do the work and
organize the parts ready to pick. You will end up with several sets open and
you're randomly hunting through bags looking for parts. There is a higher
risk of losing some or sending the wrong color. I would be happy to share
with you how I organize my small store if you would like.
As for the religious aspect, I would agree with many of the comments and already,
and I see you are already making edits. The new logo is much better!
I am not religious but was raised religious and have studied several world religions
over the last 30 years.
I miss the 80s and 90s when businesses would put the Jesus Fish subtlety on their
marketing. This was not to promote the word but to show by example what a "good
Christian" was. You may be lowering the number of sales you get, but then again
a steadfast believer may choose your store over others just because of your devotion.
I believe this is your intent, but due to politics, and the fact that many denominations
have forgotten to "love their neighbor," I would expect you to lose some customers.
I would NOT send literature. Maybe a sticker on the box, or a handwritten God
Bless on the invoice would be fine. The most important thing is to behave the
way your religion tells you and be a good steward of your faith. This is more
powerful than door-knocking or chasing people down on the street.
The one change I would do is to adjust the "Spreading the Good News Through Lego
- John 3:16." In none of the translations did I see "LEGO." While innocent,
you may end up alienating some of your audience. The easy thing to do is take
off the verse reference. You can also change it to "Spreading love through LEGO"
this takes the religion out and promotes love and kindness.

Yes there is (or was?) a store doing this and they would get bad feedbacks on
a regular basis.
I personally don't see how toys and god are related and for me its a huge
turn off, I'm not religious but its fine where is expected IMO.... but whatever
floats your boat. I don't see how its good for business on any level for
the reasons others have stated, and I wont beat the dead horse.
I have other ideas, but I also do not teach my competition to compete with me,
as a general rule. No ill will intended, its just bad practice IMO. Read some
small business forums or books is my advice.

I think your splash page could use some more diversity. Maybe try adding some
more holy books like the Quran, the Torah, and the Bhagavad Gita.

The religion is definitely a turn-off so there's that.
Your terms have told me:
That you profess to not really know the difference between real LEGO and fake.
That you don't know how to set up your shipping settings to exclude countries
you don't want to sell to.
That you think you aren't responsible for orders not delivered.
That you have a casual relationship with spelling and grammar. (That's my
issue, maybe other people don't judge.)
That you are overcharging for shipping by using retail USPS prices or maybe you
just have additional unlisted handling charges? Shipping one minifig should cost
$4 tops. You are charging $6 to ship a minifig that costs less than $5.
That being said, I do have to admire your persistence in the Forum and enthusiasm
for all things LEGO.

I am still 100% offended by show of any faith that is currently engaged in reducing
my civil rights.
