Controller is very similar to 2162c01 but different dial and open pin holes on
the front. Don't have any leads on the motors. Everything takes 3 AA.

I think the black box is the underside. The top is dark gray and the bottom
is black.

Thanks everybody! These look correct… not sure why being bionicle was hindering
my search on brickstore.

Thanks everybody! These look correct… not sure why being bionicle was hindering
my search on brickstore.

I had them growing up, so I recognized the orange and yellow color scheme immediately.
Never quite worked correctly though... One motor always got stuck and basically
it would move in a circle and not forward!

Cool find if you have the rest of the parts (especially the masks).

Unfortunately no masks. Came in a bulk lot that didn't have any bionicle.
Both motors had 49.6 x 28 vr tires on them. So somebody was have some fun.
