Had the seemingly very common issue of the scroll wheel not appearing/working.
Fixed it by disabling adblock and turning on/off cookies, but now every time
I load a new page on the site it asks for my cookie preferences and logs me out
(if I try to log in the page reloads and signs me out immediately). I'm posting
this from a different browser because it wouldn't even let me log in to post
a message. Also, when I go to any item page, it won't show any sellers which
I assume is a related issue (see attached image). Anyone know how to fix? Thank
you

Which browser are you trying to use? Have you tried disabling all of your extensions?

I'm on Chrome, only extension that would be messing with it is adblock which
is disabled.

Cleared cache, no changes. I tried to accept the preference cookies but I'm
not sure it ever actually goes through because each time BL loads a new page
it asks my cookie preferences again. Still cannot sign in

Have you tried using a different browser?
Other than that: if you can write a forum message it means you're logged
in as you cannot do that "anonymously".

Like I said before, I'm using a different browser (Firefox) to post this
and it's working fine here. I'm still looking for an answer because I
don't want to change browsers just because of one website

BrickLink is strange. If I log in from my personal computer, everything works
just fine. However, if I log in from my work computer, many of the buttons are
broken, and I often find myself having to go back to the homepage just to do
basic things like search the catalog or browse the forum.

My guess is that there is no easy workaround for this. You can report it to the
problem center:

https://www.bricklink.com/helpDesk.asp?helpDeskID=114

but in the meantime you may have to use Firefox just for BrickLink.

Hmm, when you say ‘work computer’, is it from home too?

If it’s at your workplace, does your workplace happen to have a proxy?

If it’s home, does it uses the same connection as your personal computer? Does
it uses a VPN to connect to your workplace’s network?

There’s lots of things that can happen between BL’s servers and what you eventually
see on the screen.

Not necessarily.

I don't know if we have a proxy, but my company does have its own private
internal network. That may have something to do with it.

If it’s home, does it uses the same connection as your personal computer? Does

It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I am connected to my home wifi
or my company's VPN.

Understood. I'm not saying that it's a problem with BrickLink per se,
but I don't seem to have the same issues with other websites (YouTube, Gmail,
etc.)

As you can see, I am a very hard worker…

Well, those other websites are better known¹, so the rules (proxy/filtering/A-V…)
fit them… and if they showed problems, there’d be more people complaining to
IT.

(¹ And less kludgy.)

And so you do your work quickly and that leaves you plenty of free time for personal
stuff while you wait for the others to catch up

I have the same issue in Chrome. I've removed all cookie restrictions and
specifically added Bricklink as a "Cookies always allowed" and "third party cookies
allowed" site. I thought it might correct after the last Windows update. But
it still won't work. Bricklink is the only site where this seems to be a
problem. Hopefully, some update or patch will fix it some day. Until then, we
get some extra typing practice. :-/

Waterfox can be a nice alternative to Firefox and Chrome

It won't help with the bugs, but autofill will do the typing for you

Long ago, the four foxes lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when
the Firefox attacked. Only Internet Explorer, master of all four foxes, could
stop him. But when the world needed him most, he vanished.

It's a quote from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Internet Explorer is
the one who vanished; indeed, IE was deprecated on June 15th.
