The item at the below link, 4070a is a unique piece and I have 3 in white. I
cannot upload because it is marked for deletion, why is this so? How do we correct?

it was "replaced/merged" with

Part No: 4070 Name: Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
*
4070 Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
Parts: Brick, Modified {Blue}
since "This entry has been marked for
deletion because the presence or absence of a slot in this part has been determined
to be of little or no consequence to most users."

I'll also add that I'm pretty sure that this variation was not an intentional
change by Lego, but merely a common "defect" of the normal piece.

Oh dear - we had wild forum battles^^^^ polite discussions about if this slot
was intented or not (and has any usage) something like 10/15 years ago.

I'm HAPPY this horse is dead!

In this specific case wouldn't merging

[p=4070a]

to

Part No: 4070 Name: Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
*
4070 Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Headlight
Parts: Brick, Modified

end this?
