The photos for 6239pb061L and 6239pb061R "Tail Shuttle with Worn Bolted Metal
Plates and White Fang Pattern Model Left/Right Side (Sticker) - Set 70009" are
switched.

All other Tail Shuttle parts with stickers assume forward is the bottom of the
slope and the tail is leaning backwards. This one is opposite of that. The part
numbers correspond to the names - it's the photos that need to be switched
(and probably the sellers need to be informed)

Alternatively mark these for deletion and create a new variant that's correct

They look correct to me...

Seems complicated to me:

The right one is on the left side of the right empennage.  It shows when you
look at the model from its left.
And vice versa for the left one: it’s on the right of the left empennage
and it shows when you look at the model from its right.

I don’t know what’s right.  Maybe it should be left as it is?

Sounds right!

(I believe the confusions stems from the stickers being placed on the inside
facing side of the tail. Stickers appear more frequently on the outside edge.
The R and L on these are correct for their set, but different from the majority
of their category.)

Wait - are you saying that "Right" and "Left" should refer to where on the set
the part is used?? Shouldn't the part description describe the part itself?
This is wholly inconsistent with every other shuttle tail. Are there more parts
where the description of the part tells you the placement in a build and not
the description of the part itself??

No it isn't. That's how every "right" and "left" stickers are determined
as far as I know. I checked a couple of the other right tails and they appear
on the right side of the set. Normally, tails on the right side of the build
have their sticker on the right side of them, so it appears that's how they're
named. This is one of the few times where the tail on the right side of the build
has a sticker on the left side of the piece.

The R and L indicate where on the model a part can be found. For example on a
vehicle like this, it is from the perspective of the model looking forward. Sorry
if I am not explaining it very well. If you were the driver, all the R stickers
would be on your right-hand side.

Can you link to the naming guidelines?

No, I don't see any reference to it in the Help actually. Perhaps the info
could be added to the Item Number page? However, the parts themselves clearly
indicate: 'Model Right Side' 'Model Left Side' That's what
that phrase means. That's how it has always been explained to me by the catalog
admins.

Thanks,
Jen

I believe it is indeed missing from the help pages. I'll leave this request
open for now as a reminder to add it.

Correct.

I don't think it's legal to apply stickers while driving...
But hey, what do I know?

It's okay as long as you are driving on the left.
