Just got back from one of our local Costco stores. This set
is now at $14 unit price. While the
is at $60 unit price (I’ll speculate that they get marked-down to $45-$50, soon.
Pallet loads yet on the floor)
It’s gonna be a hell of a ride, brace yourselves!

Wow that's cheap, Lego announced a 1 billion dollar investment in Richmond
for a new factory to open 2025.. so hopefully lots more cheaper lego will hit
stores your way.
Us in England have to pay full price 😪

| more than 5-10 percent off a set is already an extremely rare occurrence for
lego. but that is just unheard of in Canada

Really? In the U.S, it has been my experience that if you are patient, and don't
mind waiting a while, you can find about half of lego sets 20% off through walmart,
target, or a similar store. You gusy really only get 5%-10%? Also for perspective
that lego set price isn't normal. It is just a clearance price, as Costco
ordered way too many of them, and not many people really go to costco to buy
lego here.
Thanks, NG

| Yeah, 15% is usually the highest you'll see for a sale on a set unless it's
on clearance but if it's on clearance there usually are between 0-2 copies
of the item left. only a handful of times in a given year will find something
for anything close to %50 off.

| The only sets I’ve seen with a large discount recently have been the beatbox
vidyo sets, not everyone’s first choice.
They were priced at £4.50

| same. That's the first 50% or higher discount I've seen all year. My
dad picked up 55 units of them almost right away.

| Just so you know.
The star at the top of the price tag means that the price is not likely going
to get any better. That usually means the item is being cleared out for another
product. On a certain date the remaining product will be sold by the pallet
to a thrid party distributor. Rarely are these sent back to the manufacturer.
If a price ends in .99 it is usually the highest price Costco is allowed to sell
it for. Managers always have the authority to discount any item they want.
However, the instant discount with the star means that it is the lowest price
you can expect.
Both these discounts will likely vary throughout the US. Some stores may not
have another product to replace the pallet, and thus keep it at full price for
any profit they can get from it.

Good luck, wish they would do such discounts here, we maybe get a 10% discount
of the original price.
But normally LEGO stays at full price

Your speculation is correct. I purchase several of these at $60.00 a month ago
at our local Costco but yesterday I purchased the 7 more at $50.00.
Side note: not sure how many Costco's have them but one close by us had the
on sale for $60.00 until the the 26th or 28th, can't remember
which one. It will go back up to $80.00 after the sale.
