| Inventories require members to contribute to the community catalogue and input
it themselves. Because Comicon figures are usually limited, it can be challenging
for contributors to get their hands on one. The catalogue can be complicated
and confusing for new users, so they tend not to inventory without help, even
for simple or cheap sets.

| To add something to the catalouge it requires you to have the product. As the
Comic-con minifigures are in the lower numbers (100-200) it is hard for bricklink
members to add them.

(Most of the time) I have added many invetories based on a instruction manual
/ parts list. The set just has to be at least one year old.

But you need to get images of the items that are not in the catalog to complete
the inventory.

Some are sealed. To be able to inventory the parts, an owner (often not a seller)
would need to open the set, dismantle the figure and take photos and then reassemble
the minifigure. At that point the minifigure is used and the packaging opened.
That has probably done at least a few hundreds of dollars worth of damage to
the value. And for what? Comic-con figures are rarely dismantled and sold off
as parts, or individual parts found in collections by sellers wanting to sell
them on. And if that does happen, the person with those parts can always add
the parts to the database if they want to sell them.
