| I tried to open the studio and it asked if it could:
"Make changes to device," or something along those lines.
Why?

Studio is a finicky software. 
Can you be more specific? Maybe post a picture of the error message.

| Unfortunatly, my laptop will not allow me to take screenshots when messages like
that show up, but the most spesific I can get it that it says, when I open it,
"Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"
I don't know too much about computers, but its odd to me,
and isn't that like administator permission?

| It is not uncommon for software to ask to make changes, especially when Studio
will be making changes to the files which have your virtual Lego model stored.
Without access, many apps will not run on your computer. The best safety precaution
is to make sure you trust the developer before you give it any permission. Studio
is 100% safe to use.

| Thanks. I gave it premission, downloaded the entire thing, and restarted my laptop.
After going to desktop, I clicked on the file and it asked the same thing, it
asked for premission. Did I click the wrong file or does it need more premission?

It does permanently need writing permissions to the Program Files\Studio 2.0\
folder as to update the parts library.

| Basicly its asking for your permission if the program can make changes to your
system so that the program can run on your system. You can decide yes or no.
Do this with caution as it is your system.
Example
Kind of like when you download an app on your phone it may ask for changes to
better fit or run on your phone.
