| Can LEGO please correctly update our Order Details Pages with the following:
1) Correct SKU listed under item instead of empty field / NULL
2) Correct item name listed Name instead of SKU:random ID
3) Correctly linking to the product page at brick link product page, for example
https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/designer-sets-for-adult-fans-of-lego/215744/Modular-Construction-Site
4) Change "Backordered" or "In process" to the expected ship date "Ships March
2023"
5) Remove CANCELED orders from "My Orders" page. (LEGO canceled 8+ orders and
they clutter up the "My Orders" page. I thought we could order 5+ and didn't
read the notice
6) Make it not possible to create an invalid order. If a user can't order
more then 1 of an item, they should never be able to checkout. Canceling orders
after the fact just makes for disappointed customers.
The following is what I see in my orders
SKU NAME Price Total Order Date
MISSING 6434001 319.99 344.79 May 16
MISSING 6434003 299.99 323.24 May 16
MISSING 6434000 199.99 215.49 May 16
MISSING 6434002 129.99 140.06 May 16
MISSING 6393841 249.99 269.36 May 16
910002 Studgate Train Station 399.99 377.11 May 16 $50 VIP POINTS
MISSING 6397999 229.99 247.81 Nov 21
MISSING 6413196 289.99 312.46 Nov 21
I estimate LEGO made ~16 million USD on these orders. So please hire a few interns
(free labor) to correctly display the order information. It been incorrect since
the start.

Wouldn't this be better addressed to the good folks at Lego.com?

LEGO owns bricklink and they read these forums.
The owners of Designer Program are LEGO employees which know who to contact at
LEGO corp to fix this long standing order detail page flaws.

I think you have some higher expectation that what actually exist. While Lego
owns BL, they are two different group and I very much doubt that they open or
work on ticket for each others systems. Just my two cents.

(6) would need to have a real time link between the online cart and their order
system. After placing an order it often takes a while to log in their system,
so anyone placing orders for multiple sets, one at a time, would get round this.
And that is why they cancel orders where customers have broken purchase limits.
I can understand if you place an order a day or a week later, then there could
be a check to see if you are breaking order limits and alert you if you are.
(4) What is the problem here, these orders are backordered, or in process. Putting
a shipping date may disappoint if they cannot make that date.
(3) You ordered it on lego.com, so if anything it should link to the product
page there. There are hardly any BDP sets, so having their systems cope with
a different way of handling the set details, linking to a different site, is
unlikely for so few sets.
(5) retaining cancelled orders is a good idea, as it gives the customer clear
knowledge that the orders placed have been cancelled rather than leave them wondering
why an order has disappeared from their account.

6- Doable in realtime. other online stores do it.
7- maybe say "Estimate Feb 2023" with a link to a FAQ. putting information in
front of the user is better then being vague. 'backordered' is normally
used when something is sold out, these sets have never been sold and are no longer
for sale. 'backordered' is normally unplanned and infer you can order
more. these orders have an expected ship date and you can't order more.
3- it would be great if these sets had a product page at lego.com, I don't
think they ever will so linking to the bricklink site should be the exception.
No one will be confused cause they were ordered from bricklink to begin with.
5- more them to a cancelled order tab like most websites have.
everything can be improved!

The actual orders were placed on lego's site.

They just need to add a filter option to select/deselect certain orders, Active
(Just Placed, In Warehouse, In Process, Backordered etc.), Complete (Delivered,
Shipped, Cancelled etc.) with the ability to filter those by order status and
by "recent change" so we can filter the BDP sets that are from Round 1 or 2.
The only Cancelled order that should be removed as such is if the latest order
is cancelled it should be removed from the "Latest Order" screen and available
in the "All Orders" screen.
