| Regarding the shipping time, Canada post can easily take a month or more to deliver
to the USA depending on what shipping service was used (even if they say it doesn't
take that long) and doesn't always have tracking. I'm not defending the
seller or anything but I just wanted to mention this. The part where you said
"Canadian Post takes about 4-6 days according to their website" would only apply
to one/some of their shipping services and not all.

Depends what shipping service they used as well. Only small packet and lettermail
don't include a tracking number. Both options can take an extremely long
time when crossing the border, that's why I opt not to use them. 2 weeks
plus is normal for those services.
I'd also use neither service to ship out an expensive order because there's
no insurance coverage.
I'd ask to see a copy/photo of their shipping receipt before escalating to
a claim.

Unless you pay for extremely costly hyper-express shipping, IMNSHO you can change
that to "... would apply to none of their shipping services". 2 weeks shipping
time is pretty much standard (although this may vary by origin - I believe US-bound
shipments from our neck of the woods flow through San Francisco, shipments from
sellers out East would likely see different hubs).
Niek.

| I'm not saying anything about the seller here, but if I shipped a package
to the U.S. I would be shocked if it arrived in 4 days, or even 4 business days.
(don't count Saturdays and Sundays). I'd be very happy if it arrived
in two weeks, (about 10 business days, depending what day it was mailed. But
it can take longer.
Most of my shipments to the U.S. are sent without tracking, because it involves
less cost for the buyer.
