Hey Bricklinkers,
I'm just wondering why there is no noise reference for the element listed
below. When I click listen here it brings me to a page and the play icon is greyed
out. I would like to know how I can find out what noise it makes.

I am happy for any other websites links leading to the sound.

It appears that that sound has not been added to the catalog yet, perhaps someone
with one in their inventory can add a sound bite in the near future.

It appears that that sound has not been added to the catalog yet, perhaps someone

Pretty much all of those are close to 20 years old. The battery is sealed inside,
and non-replaceable. I have one example that I tried for several days to get
into it, using an Xacto style knife, with no success. A point in time is approaching
when just about all of them will be dead and soundless. Talk about planned obsolescence.

I took one apart recently.
The top is glued on, and the battery is soldered into place.

Yeah, you're right.

It seems the sound file (that was added to the catalog back in 2009) doesn't
work anymore. I moved this thread to technical issues.
Unfortunately at the moment there is no possibility for us catalog admins to
fix this or to add new sounds.
