| Why is it okay to allow a seller to give neutral or negative feedback when an
ordered is placed and promptly paid for? The seller was the one that didn't
send the piece that was ordered and then never made an attempt to fix the error
even after they knew about it! I wasted a month waiting for them to correct their
mistake. So, If I leave them neutral feedback because they are annoying and wasted
my time, why can they then change the feedback they provided me to neutral because
I didn't give them positive feedback? The Feedback should be blinded and
not changeable unless granted by the moderators.

You forgot a case: when the buyer is totally inventing the problem you're
talking about!
This is why (apart if we're going to be like Amazon), the seller (in your
case) can also defend her/himself - and this does happen.
I wouldn't like this feature to be removed.

| my understanding is you can't change feedback after 30 days. If you are really
bent out of shape by a seller that left you positive feedback, just wait a month
until they can not change it and let them have it.

Sorry to hear that. You have a 68 feedback score and only one neutral feedback
(and no negative feedback) so I don't think anyone will think any less of
you because of it, I have two neutral feedbacks as a seller and I still get plenty
of sales! (When I have inventory). Now the seller on the other hand has 13 neutral
feedbacks and 9 negative feedbacks and many of them are recent so even though
they have a higher feedback rating I think many people will shy away from that
store especially after reading this forum post.

| No seller would ever keep you from buying based on that 1 neutral. If anything,
they look at the comment and end up with a lower opinion of the seller as it's
clearly retaliation.

This was my thought exactly. That feedback shows a lot more about the seller
than it does you. You can respond to that feedback and I would if I were you.
It will show the seller didn't live up to his/her side of the transaction.
