Someone placed an order in my shop and then cancelled out stated I had charges
not clearly stated in my terms. I hadn't even invoiced him yet, so could
he have seen the tax that brickink adds or did he just pick something when he
changed his mind? And does that show on my permanent record?? Lol

He coudn't see tax or shipping costs. He only changed his mind.

The buyer can see taxes assessed on the order amount, as well as the shipping
charges after they've been applied. Both prior to invoicing.

Entirely possible, that's the reason.

But "cancelled" unilaterally? You’ve been asked to approve the buyer’s cancelation
request, correct?

The succinctly worded rules laid-out for buyers in this regard: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=79

Proceed as you will, Warren. There’s no “permanent record” to concern yourself
over, not in the sense you mean. There are however, other considerations for
the seller from irked buyers in these circumstances.

I already cancelled the order, I meant the part about him saying I added charges,
I don't like that he can say that when it wasn't the case.

Sure, who'd like that. But who would really know other than the buyer, and
you if you ask them. Just relay to the (non)buying member, the facts regarding
this. I'd imagine since the site tax collection implementation, that there
remains a percentage of every-now-and-then shoppers, among others, that haven't
yet been made aware of what are new-to-them "charges" added to their orders placed.

Rule 1: Always accept cancellation. Who never maid a mistake?

Rule 2: Always use or change to the exact cancellation reason.
Often you'll receive a "System Problem" or "Mutal agreement" or whatever
inadequate reason.

So, cancel the cancellation, and then cancel yourself with the proper reason:
"Buyer doesn't want to buy amymore" (or something like this).
Then cancel the order.

Eventuall give the guy a positive feedback.
That's for business - it's not a rule

HTH?

Made... maids may have made mistakes, however, this isn't the point here.
