| I parting out some 71741’s today and stopped when I saw this.
Two sets. Bags 4 and 24 are loaded with them. Set on the left is more blue,
set on right is more teal. Laptop is in use by wife for a while so I can’t
access brickstore. Is this a know issue? are they considered different colors
or are theee alternates?

Both are Trans-Light Blue.
One group is probably made with polycarbonate, and the other group is probably
made with the newer material MABS (methyl methacrylate- acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene),
otherwise known as transparent ABS. Different materials with different properties
that take to being dyed differently.
MABS is the only material used to make transparent parts now. I don't know
about anyone else, but I absolutely hate it for windscreens. The parts don't
even look, feel, or sound like LEGO parts anymore.

Oooooh yea. Once you said windscreen I remembered other conversations about
this plastic from before.
If you were me would you segregate the two "types" and put in two entries in
the catalog?

We are unfortunately not going to add two entries to the catalog for every transparent
part that is made in the two types of materials. There are just too many of them.
It would be an administrative nightmare for us, and I believe it would be an
administrative nightmare for sellers/buyers, also.
If you want to separate your own stock, look at the design numbers molded in
the tiles. The ones made with PC will be molded with 30070, and the ones made
with MABS will be molded with 35386.
Cheers,
Randy

No no, I meant just put something in the comments.
I sort of did something similar with some dark red tiles, only I made a note
for myself to check with the buyer and sent them a photo to decide, just in case
a perfect color match was important for them.
