Looking for buyers experiences of being U.K. based and buying from EU.

I’m looking to buy a number of low value purchases from the EU but don’t want
to pay VAT twice plus the collection fee.

I believe that I might, with great difficulty, get a refund of the VAT in this
situation but I wouldn’t get the collection fee back which in this scenario is
the main cost I want to avoid paying.

Ive only placed one order from the EU since July'21 it was with
- Brick24 - MEGASTORE in Germany and it was without issue.

sending to the EU is another matter, 50% of my orders sent have had IOSS issues
via using the Post Office Counter. I will start using 'Click and Drop'
and hopefully this resolves it.

I've done multiple EU purchases over the last several months and had no issues
with being charged VAT twice on any occasions.

Same here. No double/extra payments for VAT or customs/P.O.

Thanks for making this thread, how did you get on with your orders?

I am looking to make an order from Poland, and the VAT is added at the end, has
anyone ordered from Poland and not paid extra tax/fees?... they have this notice.

Each shipment to countries outside the European Union contains a CN22 customs
declaration with the full amount of the order, our invoice and the BrickLink
order specification. The buyer pays customs duties in his country if required.

Thanks
