Hello all!

I have just set an order to NSS status (non shipping seller).

Because communication from the seller had stopped I also started the Paypal buyer
protection procedure for the first time ever.

Paypal says that this can take up to 20 days but the refund was decided immediately
and my problem case closed!!!

Is it normal for this procedure on Paypal to be immediately finalised?

The seller has now seen the NSS and probably got worried so he offered a cancellation
and refund.

Unfortunately it's not possible to cancel the Paypal protection refund.

Can I still cancel the NSS on Bricklink and agree to an order cancellation with
the seller?
At least this way we can avoid the worst result I guess?

thanks in advance

You can cancel the NSS but cancelling the order itself might be complicated.

I think the worst, a negative feedback, has already happened for you.

I think the worst, a negative feedback, has already happened for you.

I see your point. That really is the only bad thing since Paypal are refunding
me the money.

However I'm annoyed that I had to use the Paypal system, I presume that they
only allow the Purchase Protection to be used a limited number of times.

As for the feedback, I see that everyone who trades a lot on Bricklink has 1
or 2 negative comments so I'm not bothered (at least I shouldn't be
)

So long as you have not changed it to received it should be easy for the seller
to push through the cancellation. As you have the refund and they have already
left negative feedback, I wouldn't worry about it. Obviously you should return
the parcel to them or just refuse delivery if it turns out they did post it to
you (even if late.)
