| Is there a way to disable a shipping method only to select countries/ select
zones. I know there is an Enable/Disable button, but that enables/disables the
entire shipping method.
In Practice it looks like this:
So lets say I have a shipping method with 6 zones. I want to disable it in only
one of the zones, but I also want to keep all the prices and weight limits saved,
so that I can easily enable it later.
Is there a way to do that or do I have to disable the entire shipping method
or delete the zone that I don't want visible to customers?

No way to disable for just one zone unfortunately.
Only ways I can think to do it would be:
a) Make a copy of your existing shipping method, then delete the zone you don't
want.
When you want to re-enable that zone, manually re-enter the information from
the copy.
b) A zone has to have at least one country in it. You could remove all countries
and just add one (osbcure) country that you think you won't get an order
from (Burkina Faso, Kiribati etc).
Depends on your zone and how long it would take to re-type in the weights/prices
or re-select all the countries.

Both of the countries I suggested have only one registered user each so I'd
like to think it's a pretty remote chance of you getting an order from them
(famous last words!).
