Have you ever wondered / guessed or asked your customers about their intent of
purchase? How would you describe the segments they belong to? Do you have any
estimation regarding the distribution of those segment of buyers shopping in
your store?
And finally, do you specifically target a certain segment/segments among them?
I'm relatively new so I'm just in the process of understanding the market
at the moment. These might be the customer segments that shop on Bricklink from
my understanding.
- Sellers/Resellers
- Those who complete sets/figures with missing parts
- Those who procure parts/minifigure/sets here to sell in another medium/country
- MOC Designers / Creative Builders
- Rebrickers/Collecting parts for a published design for their own use
- Parents (for a multitude of different purposes)
- Teachers (especially for Technic parts)
- Minifigure collectors
- Set collectors
- Part collectors
ps: Bricklink did once have a survey about this I guess last year but I don't
know if it's published anywhere..
