I ordered something from a Bulgarian store the first of December. According
to the tracking number, it hasn't moved since that day. Is this a common
problem from that region? How long before I ask for a refund without being rude?
Should I give it more than the 6 weeks it's taken so far?

There are delays coming out of Europe right now. I would recommend starting by
politely asking the seller for an update.

I thought this package was lost but it is delivered after 4 months

You have 180 days to open a case with PayPal. So be patient.
I got a refund from the seller after he contacted the courier and they confirmed
the pacakge was lost. Now I regret I was not patient enough and will repay him
anyway.

Last year I had a package that literally arrived on the 178 day. I had worked
with the seller and processed the refund just days prior. Turned right back
around and sent them the Paypal right back. I would just reach out to the seller
to keep them updated and continue to wait. If you have no rush for the parts,
they will get there and you still have time to work on a refund if necessary.

Ask seller to open an investigation case. It can be opened after a month of posting.
Probably the package is left somewhere and forgotten. Also this matches with
Christmas period.

Thank you for your response. The store is in the same city as you. Have you
noticed this issue this year as well?

Is your package already left Bulgaria?

It happens rarely. Yes, i opened a case on Dec 30th. The order left Bulgaria
on Dec 4th and then nothing. Just it appears on the foreign airport, I guess
the package was about a month there.

Bulgarian post are reliable, most shipments left Bulgaria within a day or two

Just ask your seller to open a case and sit and wait. Overseas orders can take
a lot of time. Bulgaria doesn't have a direct flight to the USA
