Hi,

I just had a discussion with a shop owner about the offered payment methods.
He only offers Paypal and pushes a 5% transaction cost to me.
I usually select the option to pay via IBAN (I always buy within Europe) as these
transaction costs are much lower.
So I asked him why he doesn't offer this option and according to him he is
not allowed to offer IBAN as a payment method as he started his shop after the
1st of January.

a) Is this rule true?
b) Is Bricklink legally allowed to do this?

Offsite payment methods are no longer available for new sellers as of June 8,
2017. However, you may request special permission to enable IBAN during or after
the New Seller Verification process by contacting the Help Desk.
***All new sellers will be required to have at least one onsite payment method
available in their store to receive IBAN permission.**

Seems so.
