shows one sticker applied on the red minifig with catalog (or a similar one in
different language)

m79eu1 1979 Mini European (102983-EU)
Catalogs: 1979
from 1979.

I believe and have heard from collectors that all classic space sets from 1979
came first with sticker sheets for minifigs but so far, they are added to only
a couple of sets.

A new sticker sheet entry will first need to be created if it is in fact the
same one as listed in your change request. For now, we don't make combined
sticker sheet entries for sheets that come in three or less sets.

What about 4 sets or more?

Four sets or more gets a "multistk" entry. For example:

[p=multistk0001]

Hi Randy,

Eventually, all classic sets from 1979 should come with these sticker sheets.
There are 19 sets.

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=S&catString=34.314

At this point, there is no perfect evidence for these sticker sheets for all
these 19 sets but there has been multiple reports that they came with these sticker
sheets in early production runs.

If we create new sticker sheets, we will need to remove them later. Not very
good. So I hope we can make an exception for this set (and these sets) for
now
.

Merging entries later is very easy, so for now please stick to the way
things are done until the sticker sheet is officially listed in more than three
sets.

As said before the stickersheet can't be approved for this set.
As long as there's no stickersheet in this set, the other requests can't
be approved either. So please add the stickersheet to the catalog, so we can
finish these requests.

Thank you.

I wonder if there was a difference between Canadian/European versions and USA
versions. I owned 462, 483, 487, and 497 that I can clearly recall, and never
saw a stickered torso.

Both versions were released in 1979, but so far there's no evidence that
these 8 sets had stickersheets indeed.
