| I was missing parts from an order. Emailed seller about it twice over span of
4 days without response. i emailed twice before about another part i was looking
for and he responded promptly both times. I figured continuing to email him about
the missing parts would be fruitless, i filed a mising parts claim. He then emailed
me saying parts would be mailed if and when i took back the NSS. I didnt respond,
he emailed again saying he was holding off on mailing them until the NSS was
pulled, is this how things are done? i dont want to mess anyone up, just want
my part. Hes not a very pleasant seller to deal with, charged a 30% stocking
charge and took 5 days to ship as well, but just want my parts i paid alot of
money for.

I'd just respond and let him know that you'll remove the NSS when you
receive the missing parts. NSS stands for Non-Shipping Seller, which perfectly
describes his actions right now. You'll remove it when he isn't one
anymore.

Also, if you ever remove the NSS, you won’t be able to open a new one for the
same order.
So, don’t close it before you’re satisfied.

be issued for missing parts.thank you."

That's exactly what an NSS is for. He didn't ship your whole order,
therefore he is a non-shipping seller. If Amazon only sent half your order,
you wouldn't consider that transaction complete. Stand your ground and complete
the NSS. He cannot cancel the order once you have begun the NSS.
I'm sorry this has happened to you on one of your first experiences on this
site. There are many professional stores around, unfortunately this doesn't
appear to be one of them.

This is very much not how things are done, you close the NSS when you get the
parts or a refund.
What is the 30% stocking charge about?

He replied saying NSS isnt for missing parts. This is what he wrote when I asked
him about the stocking charge:"They are lot fees. They are explained in my terms.
I know there a pain, but I
need to have them so packing orders is worth my time. Thank you for the order!
Will be shipped this week."
I was under the assumption the purchase price ($32) was worth his time but apparently
he needed $13 extra to make it worth while.

1 - An NSS is definitely for missing parts, if he doesn't like it then he
can send you the parts (or a refund).
2 - Did he try to assess the additional fee after the order was already
paid for?

agreed to his terms and it is unfair to consider him unfair based on charges
he wrote he would apply to orders.

Did he state how long in general it would take him to ship? Most of my orders

I think 5 days is too quick to pull the NSS trigger. I would have waited longer
specially as you have 6 months to file an NSS.
Many sellers don't know that NSS can be filed to an incomplete order as well.
You can reply:
Other sellers on forum replied that NSS can be filed for an order with missing
parts. If you send the part to me, I won't complete NSS and wait until I
receive it. Once I receive the part, I remove NSS, but not before because if
I remove the NSS, I cannot open a new one anymore.

Agreed, it is on me. I view a 30% charge as predatory however. When i asked when
it would ship, he replied "whenever". So, along wioth that and the other 3 sellers
shipping next day, makes me a little perturbed. I think you missed the part where
he shipped the order but it was incomplete. Just an all around maddening buying

How other seller's practice has anything to do with this seller. I and many
other sellers ship between 1-10 days depending on how busy we are, how big orders
are, how many orders we received at that moment,...
As far as the shipping frequencies is explained, if you insist on "1 day shipping",
you make yourself an annoying buyer because you saw the terms (so shipping frequencies)
and you agreed on them.
If the shipping frequencies of seller is like 1-3 days, or if there is none,
then ok but 5 days is not too bad.
Please distinguish Amazon with thousands of employees from a hobby seller who
gets 5-15 orders per week and spend less than 10 hours for his shop.
| I think you missed the part where
he shipped the order but it was incomplete. Just an all around maddening buying

Mistakes happen.
I have checked some orders twice but made mistakes and this was disappointing.
What matters is how the seller correct it. In my previous email, I suggested
to contact seller and explain that NSS is correctly filed an incomplete order.
Hopefully he ships them or if he is short, send you a refund (including his fees,
partial or full refund for shipping costs)
