This is a good place to start but I believe there are some colours that Bricklink
doesn't distinguish:

I've got a book called Lego Color Guide by Christoph Bartneck because I'm
into collecting Lego colours. The back of the book says "...ultimate reference
for 180+ colors that the Lego company produced ober the years." So quite a few.

There are obscure colours never officially used in any sets/parts like the "military
brown" (my term snd those used to be my parts)

The 6x8 plate is regular old brown

Cheers,

Ole

Is it an exact match? Looks like it might be browner... or maybe not.

What mold markings/numbers are underneath?

If this isn't the best photo I've seen this month, I don't know what
is! Quite the jaw-dropping picture right there.

Thank you I have 373 colors listed there (give or take), including Modulex

I think it also depends on if you consider adding glitter to an existing color,
a new color.
