By any chance, do you have 4820, 4821, and 4822 on hand? The crowns in those
sets may or may not be Reddish Gold, but they’re pretty tough to confirm just
by looking at the render, nor does LEGO have any info on those crowns. I’m also
convinced that every ‘Copper’ sword is ‘Reddish Gold’.

All changes for the new color (to BrickLink) Reddish Gold will require solid
proof, such as that posted in this thread. Therefore, please do not request any
changes for this color without proof.

Thanks,
Randy

This will be on my radar. I watch for sets that need inventory repairs, but
I only buy ones that I can get my money back out of.

Do you believe I will be able to confirm actually Pearl Gold swords?

Yes. LEGO.com has some sets from 2006 that have Pearl Gold swords, as does Bricklink,
but LEGO.com’s inventories are based on the most recent iteration of a set, meaning
that if a set’s first run had Reddish Gold swords, and then Pearl Gold after
Reddish Gold was retired, then LEGO.com displays Pearl Gold swords. Bricklink
has many sets with Copper swords, some of which have alternate Pearl Gold swords,
so those might be tougher to confirm. As far as I can tell (based on Ryan’s flickr
page for this color), Reddish Gold was really only used in KKII, 2003 Bionicle
sets (as masks), and a set or two in a Duplo subtheme.

Set 8813 could be tricky, as it has alternates and, if confirmed to have Reddish
Gold parts, could be this color’s final appearance in a set. (excluding gear,
of course)

These golds all look the same, which makes inventory things even tougher. If
you’re looking for inventories that might need a fix, give sets 8701 and 8771
a look. Looks Pearl Gold to me, and it’s highly unlikely that LEGO used almost-C3PO
exclusive Pearl Light Gold for a few KKII parts. As far as Reddish Gold goes,
LEGO.com is pretty useless, but do check Ryan’s photos out:
