| Dear Brickfriends,
I have a question for you. I just bumped today into some sets of Lego Movie 2,
at a 60% discount sale. They are NIB, sealed, but the boxes are slightly damaged.
Would you suggest to part out and sell the parts or to try to sell them as whole
sets?
Is there anyone more experienced who has a good suggestion to give?
Thanks!

| If it were me I'd part them out as it will be more profitable, unless you
need a fast return on your investment and they are particularly in demand sets
of course. It'll take a lot longer to sell all the parts compared to selling
the whole set but it depends on the store business model you have developed.

They've often been on sale at 50% off in perfect boxes so chances are anyone
that wanted them would have bought already at a decent price and there are probably
loads of decent boxed sets in storage for future sale. So you might as well part
them out.

| Just been offered a number of sealed Harry Potter sets in good condition, awaiting
photo’s to see what there is and make a similar decision on whether to part out
or sell as sets.
I do favour parting out for many sets, those you mention would be included for
me, I would part out.
