Best bet is to create a wanted list from the set itself. The set averages for
about $350 USD right now, but when I parted it out and did a "Buy All" from the
wanted list, it was 3 buyers internationally totaling around $565 without shipping.

So for this instance, it's cheaper to just buy the set directly.

Either way, I'd offer a warning about the fact that the US Postal Service
has halted First Class and Priority package services, leaving only the top tier,
expensive Priority Express shipping as the only option for package service to
Australia, so be sure to limit your shopping to stores that can offer cheaper
delivery options.

A pretty general answer (but also almost always true in my experience), is that
buying a set will be cheaper than buying the parts unless you already have ~50%
or more of the parts.

Yup. Having Bricklinked thousands of sets to keep and sell as well as having
bought hundreds of complete sets on various platforms, ~50% is the magic number
of parts to have before Bricklinking a set to make it better than buying complete,
while ~75%+ is the magic number to make it meaningfully profitable (as long as
you're not missing the most expensive or rarest item). I've done the
math over and over.
