Hi

Did part x47, the Dragon Plume, ever appear in Black? It's not listed in
the BL catelogue but I've currently got a piece in black. Would it be fake
then? If anyone can confirm would be appreciated as it looks pretty authentic...

Cheers.

There are 8 people who want this in black, but not in the catalogue as you mentioned.

Several years ago there was a seller in Canada who custom made these wheels and
sold them on eBay, they were very good replicates. I don't recall if that
seller was making them in black.

How can one check which colors are on the wanted list entries for an item?

Right in the catalog entry for the part. I highlighted it for you.

Beware with this column, especially with older parts:
— there’s people who know for sure the part exists (as Q-element…),
— there’s people who are just hoping the part exists (or will exist soon, for
new parts),
— and there’s a lot of people who used them in a virtual MOC they uploaded in
a Wanted List and didn’t even realize the part is discontinued and never existed
in that colour.
