| According to brickset, I have found these new colors. Pearl red, pearl blue,
pearl black, pearl green, and pearl brown.

What is this based on?

The old Bionicle parts that are somewhat pearlescent, which Bricklink typically
does not separate out.

The old Bionicle parts that are somewhat pearlescent, which Bricklink typically
does not separate out.

Indeed, BL decided these are not different colours years ago. So these are not
new "old" colours.

I think that pearl white is the exception.

Perhaps it was more obvious that pearl white had a different texture to it. The
other pearly bionicle colors aren’t as obvious to someone merely glancing at
the part. I’m sure adding the other pearly colors wouldn’t be too difficult,
as they came in virtually the exact same parts as Pearl White.

Bricklink follows it's own rules and guidelines for new color requirements.
An old out of production color for a small subset of parts is not a high priority
from what I know of the goings on.
