Question to admin; Is there a reason why iDeal is not mentioned in the list of
proposed payment methods in the survey? Does it mean it will not be implemented
at all, or implemented for sure?

Looks like all (or most) of the payment methods mentioned in the survey are actually
payment providers. Out of the ones listed I know that Adyen offers iDeal as one
of their payment methods. And Stripe (which BL already uses for credit/debit
card payments) also offers iDeal.

Aha, I see. Odd question for a survey then - more of a question for developers
than for users, since they usually wouldn't care who is providing the service.
Or maybe the idea was that IBAN includes iDeal? Since it's just an interface
on bank transfers. I don't see why they would list IBAN in the list suggestions
if it refers to manually doing an IBAN transfer, since we already have that.

And, honnestly, I don’t know most of the methods listed in the survey, even only
by name, so how am I to rank them?

I'm in the same boat as you - being a buyer from the United States, I only
buy from stores located in the United States, and I only use PayPal for my purchases.
None of the other method names were recognizable to me, which means they are
likely not used in the United States. I'll just stick with good old PayPal,
thank you very much...

I looked into them:

Venmo: mobile app owned by PayPal
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venmo

Cash App: formerly Square Cash, mobile app
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cash_App

Braintree: Chicago-based mobile and web payment company… acquired by PayPal
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braintree_(company)

IBAN: bank transfer, not an app, not a company

Ayden: typo for Adyen? a Dutch company that does bank transfers & credit cards
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adyen

Klarna: Swedish fintech, does installment loans
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klarna
“On May 27, 2021, Klarna exposed the accounts of its users randomly to any
user. Klarna stated the problem was due to a severe technical issue.”  Okay,
where do I sign?

Affirm: San Francisco-based fintech, does installment loans
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affirm_(company)

Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.): not an app, not a company

Correction, it seems it’s eBay’s payment processor: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1304949
