Starting September 17th (yesterday) Priority Mail shipments from the US to Australia
have been suspended on top of the First Class Mail Package service that was suspended
nearly two weeks ago.

It appears that it's Australian Customs being overwhelmed (and possibly understaffed)
requesting the suspension of service.

USPS Priority Mail Express and courier services (UPS/FedEx/DHL) options
are still available, but at much higher cost (and speed) than First Class or
Priority Mail.

As I get updates on this, I'll post them.

I believe a lot of it has to do with large numbers of workers in postal facilities
being off-work due to Covid.
