3626a black head, missing, on lego build instructions, shows jango fett,sw0053 with hair and face head, or plain black face with helmet

I think the image just means you can turn the head to get a plain front. There
is no evidence the set came with an additional head, see for example the peeron
inventory which is based on a seal set and was verified with a sealed set:

Yes, it's an early use of the reversible head but with only one printing,
like some Scout Trooper figures that also use balaclava heads.

sorry one other question ? HELP can lego violet discolour ?
|
Yes, and pretty easily. Many of the Basketball theme Violet parts I've found
have been discolored, and I replaced the legs on a copy of the same Jango Fett
fig you have because of discoloration. I'm not sure whether it's due
to sunlight or a chemical change, since some of the discoloration seemed uniform,
even on the inside of the legs. And I've found Violet parts from the Basketball
theme where the legs were entirely discolored but the hips were perfect, like
the legs had changed chemically but the hips hadn't.
You can check for sun damage by comparing the topside of the arms to the underside,
where they touch the torso. But checking for discoloration due to chemical change
is a lot more difficult unless you have other Violet parts to compare to.

Discolouration caused, or rather accelerated, by sunlight is also a chemical
change
What you call “chemical change”-caused discolouration is a discolouration where
the causes & catalyzers are more uniformly spread (humidity, temperature, time…).
Anyway, in the end, everything is just maths: https://xkcd.com/435/

Thanks for the correction! I'm not a scientist in the least and don't
know the proper terminology or the chemistry behind it.
