| Two buyers for small parts orders were only offered priority mail as a shipping
option.
This happens several times a month and I have no idea why.
I checked the one order and all parts were weight bound with weights, none oversized.
What causes this issue?

If it's International, they may be part of the First Class Package service
suspension. Just had an Australian order cancel because there were no good options
to complete the transaction for under $40 shipping on a one ounce order. If it's
over a certain weight, the Ground shipping option is not always available in
Retail USPS rates, so you may have to switch to Business portal at USPS to get
a Ground price. Although the prices for both are pretty close up to a few pounds.

That certainly wouldn't be automatic on the BrickLink side though? Unless
perhaps the seller is using the Courier API?

Can you share the part IDs ? Either the part dimensions are messed up, or something
in your packaging size is too small.

and the same settings for USPS priority mail.
Most buyers order first class shipping, but just a few are only being offered
priority.

The issue is probably your packaging dimensions. What do you have entered for
that, or do you have any dimensions entered ?

I get 3 or 4 orders a day that are sent first class, this only happens to a few
buyers. I asked them what type of computer, ipad, iphone they were using to place
the order, but none have responded.

But what dimensions are coded for your shipping method (or packaging)
?
If you are using a globally shared shipping method (to get rates) it may be coded
for dimensions that are too small. Also keep in mind that the 'Apply Dimension
Margin setting affects all six directions individually (from a theoretical
starting point in the middle of your packaging). IOW, if your packaging is 3-inches
on one side, that 10% is removing 20% of 3-inches. A 3x3x3 inch cube (~27 cubic
inches) becomes a 2.4x2.4x2.4 inch cube (~13.8 cubic inches).
If First Class is not being permitted, than it may be that IC says the packaging
dimensions are too small for the items ordered. Even if all the items are marked
as Weight, dimensions are still important.

Maybe it's because you've checked the checkbox Enable seller protection
and priority mail is the only available tracked shipping method to them.

Maybe it's because you've checked the checkbox Enable seller protection
and priority mail is the only available tracked shipping method to them.

In the USA, shipping to a USA destination, First Class Parcels are tracked.

Regarding your reply to package dimensions, wouldn't that be the same for
every buyer. I can't understand why most buyers get first class postage,
while only a few only have the priority mail as their only option. Probably 95%
of my orders go out in a 6x9 bubble mailer.

That is because IC does not believe that the packaging parameters, that you have
specified for the 6x9 mailer, are of sufficient size to handle the items ordered.

How do you describe that 6x9 mailer to IC, in you shipping method ? I am asking
for the H x L x W dimensions. There must be three numbers.
