Hello everyone !

I'm having trouble figuring out how to attach the antenna base to the red
part (apparently it's a 1 x 2 plate but from the side)

It looks like it's just sit there but maybe there is another way that i don't
see ? (Or a part that i don't know instead of the 1 x 2 plate ?)

It seems wedged.
The red parts in contact with the antenna base are

Part No: 2654 Name: Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Rounded Bottom (Boat Stud)
*
2654 Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Rounded Bottom (Boat Stud)
Parts: Plate, Round {Red}
and

Part No: 25269 Name: Tile, Round 1 x 1 Quarter
*
25269 Tile, Round 1 x 1 Quarter
Parts: Tile, Round {Red}

2654 is obvious and the one on top is clearly a 1x1 quarter round and only 25269
fits the bill.

I said “on top” but meant “on its (2654’s) top,” so at the bottom of the “ear.”

Oh and the other part on the 2654 is a tile or a jumper, not a plate (there’s
a groove).
If it’s a jumper, it may be what attaches this “ear” to the head, if not then
the “ear” is attached by the 4th stud of the 2654, maybe with a clip.

Yes, that's also what i thought, but the real issue is the antenna base :
so you think it's just wedged ?
That was my very first assumption but i'm afraid it will be hard to make
it fit strongly, especially with the Hose (78c02) pushing against it (or maybe
it's the Hose that helps hold it in place)

I guess i will have to try it to be sure

Yes, the two antennas are enough to hold the hose.
The lower antenna base is connected to a plate, so all should hold together…
if the ear is strongly attached, because the hose can serve as a spring and push
it out… or maybe the hose has been pre-formed

Yep, i'm pretty sure the Hose has been pre-formed because these things are
not soft enough to be able to maintain that kind of shape without very strong
pressure

In the mean time, i figured out another way (a "legal" one) to hold the antenna
by using a 42446 Bracket
- It may not be as true to the model but at least i'm sure it will stay
in place
I will use that solution as a last resort

I tried it but the antenna base is not deep enough to contain the hole "clip"
