here you go with a minifig in the pic for scale. Pic taken today
For those unfamiliar with the plant ~ So this little guy started it’s
life (earlier this year) as a discarded piece of lunch, avocado seed. Took some
time to germinate and started to think that it wouldn't, but eventually did.
And once planted into soil, it did good given the amount of light available to
it, sitting indoors on a windowsill at this latitude, over the summer.
The downside to windowsill growing without grow lights, is that they wind-up
two-sided, much like a person with a front and a back
Far from being a tree yet (scarcely a sapling) but it sure looks like a full-grown
tree with Leia standing next to it, doesn't it?
Enjoy your day

Autumn is always approaching at 60 min/hour

“always?”
Even when it has arrived, or when it’s leaving as Winter approaches?

Yeah. More than one of them.

Came to mind while taking the pic, so I placed a blaster in her hand.
Guess we're still kids at heart, you and I

| Nice! This seems to be a little bit more advanced than the seed that I've
in a cup of water for some weeks now - but it's starting to crack - let's
see if I get a plant as well

How I've tried and failed in the past to germinate avocado seeds.
Give this a shot:
After taking the seed from the fruit without cutting into it, peel the outer
skin from it and rinse lightly. Then roll the seed in a paper towel/s soaked
in clean purified water (I use distilled) not to the point that the rolled-up
seed is dripping, just moistened. Then place the rolled-up seed into a ziplock
bag (sandwich bag size) and seal it. Place the bag in a warm (not cold anyway)
dark area of your home. The top of our refrigerator stays warm and is fairly
dark.
I've done a few successfully this way. Some take weeks to germinate, but
once they do and roots are spouting, place the seed into well-composted, well-aerated
soil.
Have fun and get yourself a grow light for the long winter months
