| I would like to know if there is a way to deal with difficult customers.
I have a situation where I sent and order from Canada to Israel and forgot a
piece in this individuals order. He emailed me and I said can I credit the piece
plus 20% or what would you like. He said He wanted the part. I said ok even
though it costs me 6.19 to send to Israel. He emailed me back and said that
he wanted to add another order and put it in with the free shipping. I said
ok. He took two days to get that done and then had PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM AFTER
PROBLEM with the checkout. I told him JUST pay for the thing and I will credit
you whatever you like. He did not respond for a couple days then HE was aggressive
and must have not read his email or something and was like, YOU ARE NOT GOING
TO ANWER ME!!!!.
I said, I have and have given you the way to proceed. He continued to do things
INCORRRECTLY on his end and then resorted to say that I needed to change my shipping
terms. I said, whatever issues are with your end and if you need help there
are forums at bricklink to help you.
HE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT and got his order through to me.
Now, like JOE BIDEN has just sent me an email saying that I owe him for the parts
from the very beginning.
I'm ready to lose my mind.
I already told him that I am sending it for free to him AND waiving the shipping
to Israel for his new order , THAT AT THIS MOMENT has still not been paid for.
I have resisted the urge multiple times to lose it on him because he has my feedback
hanging over my head.
BRICKLINK seriously has an issue with feedback in the hands of BAD/DISGRUNTLED/CHEAP/CROOKED
customers.

Probably wanna not do politics in the forum.
A trick you might try next time is seeing if you can buy the one last part from
a seller in Israel and have them send it to him. Almost certainly cheaper than
shipping another across the Atlantic and also faster for the customer.

| This could equally well be a post about difficult sellers that don't send
parts that were ordered, then expect buyers to place another order with them
by giving credit rather than actually sending the parts that they didn't
supply in the first place.

How did you get that out of this post? Sure, he did offer credit for a piece
he missed (nobody is perfect), but when the buyer asked for the piece, he's
willing to ship it out. I see no difficult seller.

This bit ... BRICKLINK seriously has an issue with feedback in the hands of
BAD/DISGRUNTLED/CHEAP/CROOKED customers.
A buyer expecting to get what they originally ordered and paid for is not CHEAP
or CROOKED. I imagine the difficulty tge buyer was getting was due to instant
checkout, making it appear like the seller was trying to charge for shipping
for the replacement order. A better route would be helping the buyer rather than
slagging them off in a public forum.

| A feedback is not hostage. Customers who care about 0.3% negative feedback are
probably customers you don't want in your store anyway. You can even reply
to the feedback and tell your side of the story. Don't worry about 1 or 2
negative I'd still buy from you
