| Where did the sellers here get the sirens from LEGO Duplo? They are supposedly
all new. LEGO told me that you do not sell the sirens. I find that very strange.
Apart from the fact that the item and shipping costs are outrageously high.

These sirens were produced from 1999-2000 in two colours, trans-red and trans-yellow.
The sets in 1999 and the five pack in 2000.
They came in four Duplo sets:
and one 5-pack siren only Dacta set
So LEGO was correct in that they do not sell it now, but they did sell it 22
years ago.
There are many sellers on BL that have new parts, and sets, that could be considered
vintage.

Sellers buy sets and part them out, selling each piece individually. As long
as the piece is just handled for organization and shipping, it can be listed
as new.

The Hungarian ones probably come from the factories there. I doubt if the sellers
part of large numbers of duplo sets.

| I don't remember very well, but I thought they were for sale this year at
the 'Schnäpchenmarkt' in Legoland Germany (Günzburg).

| Sorry didn't do my full research.
I had completely forgotten about the new sirens and only looked for the old ones.
That being said, LEGO does sell the new sirens via their Bricks & Pieces service
(under help/replacement parts/Buy Bricks
They are hideously expensive via B&P at $20.68 USD on the US site, and EUR 20.68
on the German site for the trans dark blue and $21.95 USD for the trans orange.
